Sugared peanuts

 3 cups raw peanuts 

1 1/2 c sugar

3/4 c water


1/2 tsp salt


Cook over medium heat stirring occasionally. Boil til peanuts are sugary looking and dull looking and no liquid is left. Not quite hard crack. Pour on baking by sheet. Bake 15 min at 300 degrees. Stir and bake another 15 minutes. These are better after the hey have aged. At least overnight.
